Sunrise (Age 2 - 3 | Pre-reading)
Sunrise is a lively and leading-edge pre-school music program for two and three-year-olds. Children receive instruction in rhythm, singing and ear training using fun teaching tools. This specially developed music curriculum includes stories, songs, and games to ensure that all children feel engaged and achieve a high level of success.
Sunshine (Age 3 - 4 | Levels 1 & 2)
Sunshine is a program for three and four year old beginners uses movement, beat and rhythms to develop both large and fine motor skills. Pre-reading concepts such as; keyboarding, sorting, looking for patterns with colourful visual aids, crafts - are all part of the program. By the end of the first year, Sunshines are playing songs on the keyboard and are reading from the music staff.
Sunbeam (Age 5 - 7 | Levels 1, 2 & 3)
This fun program for five and six year olds introduces concepts such as; keyboard geography and finger numbers using fun MYC critters. Children continue their practice in rhythm, singing, solfege and sight reading. By the end of this program students are composing and beginning to play more advanced music on the piano keyboard.
Moonbeam (Ages 7 - 8 | Levels 1, 2 & 3)
Our Moonbeams want “quick results” and the songs, ensembles and keyboard repertoire are designed to support their growing sense of independence. The listening activities for this age group keep the “ears open” even as reading becomes the primary focus.
Students at the final level, Moonbeams 3, are thoroughly prepared for Grade One Conservatory of Music examinations. Even more importantly, the MYC graduates (and parents) are very highly motivated to further their study in music.

Our MYC program is taught at at Allegro Music School where students can be inspired by many different instruments and successful mentors. Our established school features 5 fully equipped, large MYC classrooms. Students have the opportunity to participate in recitals and other fun performances through Allegro!
The success of our program is due partly to the fact that our teachers are qualified according to recognized Conservatory of Music or University standards, and also participate in continuing education in order to maintain their certification. The other reason this program is so successful is because of the parent/guardian involvement and support.
